Sessions & Clubs at Little Diggers Itchenor

Little Diggers Montessori Itchenor is a term-time-only setting which consists of:

• A pre-school for children aged 9 months-5 years, and
• ‘Little School’ for children aged 5-8 years to compliment the home-school and flexi-school approach

The operating hours are 8am – 4pm.

Along with the Montessori and Forest School activities, each day will include one of our five extra curricular clubs:

• Woodwork
• Cookery
• Yoga
• Library
• Gardening

Session Areas at Little Diggers Itchenor

With our very special Montessori classroom and on-site Forest School we are able to combine the Montessori curriculum with the Forest School ethos and activities. This engages the children in effective, hands-on learning experiences, utilising:

• The onsite kitchen for Cookery Club
• The main hall for yoga, Montessori work cycles, and Library Club
• The wonderful grounds for forest and woodland activities, Gardening Club, bikes, trikes and play!
• The nursery minibus for Beach School

Further Information About Little Diggers Itchenor

The pre-school and Little School are both term-time-only settings. This setting is our most ‘pure’ Montessori of all the Little Diggers Montessori family.

Children are required to provide their own ‘build your own’ packed lunches to include a morning snack.

In preparation for school, families are also encouraged to purchase our ‘Little Diggers’ school book bag, wellie bag and outdoor waterproofs.

Observations are paper based however photos are sent via WhatsApp on the nursery mobile.
