Have you got childcare sorted for the school holidays?

Last few spots remaining for our magical Easter Holiday Forest Camp ! Open to all children from 3 - 8 years!

These camps will take place at our on-site Forest School at our Sidlesham site and will be filled with adventure, exploration, and hands-on learning in the great outdoors. Please note we can only cater to children who are three years old and over.

Camp Details:
📍 Location: Little Diggers Montessori Forest School, Sidlesham Primary School

📅 Dates: 7th - 17th April

⏰ Timings & Cost:
9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (£47 per day)
8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (£75 per day)

📍 Drop-off & Pick-up: Meet in the nursery garden (drop-off at the gate)

What’s in Store?
Our Forest Camp will be a mix of focused ‘Forest School’ tool-use activities and child-led exploration, including:
🪵 Stick whittling, bow saw, palm drilling, and firelighting
🏕️ Den building, hide and seek, scavenger hunts, and parachute games
🎨 Flower crowns, dream catchers, stick men, and mud kitchen play
📖 Stories, singing, and dinosaur hunts… and much more!

What to Bring:
🥪 A nut-free packed lunch (including a morning snack and water bottle)
👕 A change of suitable clothing for outdoor play (rain or shine!)

We aim to stay outdoors in all weather conditions, making use of our natural shelter. However, in cases of high winds or torrential rain, we may relocate to the nursery hall for safety.

We love a celebration and this week we’re celebrating all our amazing mums! ❤️🥰💐

Our Itchenor setting held a Mother’s Day celebration that included a nail bar, bouncy castle, raffle, Easter egg hunt and potion making in the mud kitchen.

More importantly the event was to raise money for one of our families. The community response has been overwhelming and we are so proud to have already raised over £1000 to contribute to this important cause. Thank you all for your support and if you would like to contribute to the fundraiser please get in touch.

Our exciting garden renovation at Sidlesham is now complete! 🌿👷‍♂️👷

The outdoor space was overdue a revamp and we are so happy to see our children embracing the new space! The work was carried out over the half term to minimise the disruption to the nursery and school. Our productive builders have created a vibrant and natural space full of endless play opportunities!

Our Itchenor site had a lovely Valentine’s themed Stay and Play session yesterday! It was such a joy to have some of our wonderful families join us. There was also a Alice in Wonderland inspiration to the morning and the children all had a fantastic time sharing their forest garden with their parents 😍

A fantastic start to 2025 with our first Inset Day!

We started the day briefing the team on the year ahead before getting stuck into some training around supporting children with emotional language and boundaries.

We then treated the team to a sound bath and lunch before breaking up into site to complete team meetings and other jobs!

What a magical festive season it’s been here at LDM Sidlesham.

We had such fun at our Mince Pie and Mingle in the woods. Christmas crafts and cooking over the fire while we ate mince pies and belted out the Christmas songs we’ve been so eagerly practising ! . 🎶 🌲

We dusted off our sparkly festive wear for Christmas Jumper day! Shared a delicious Christmas lunch with all the trimmings and even met the big man himself !
