Session Areas at Little Diggers Bosham

When accessing the free-flow nursery rooms and garden areas there will be an array of Montessori and non-Montessori toys and equipment for them to pick, choose and conquer as they please! While our teachers will observe, support and extend as appropriate.

​When making use of the woodland the children and babies will be developing and building self-esteem through hands on, age appropriate woodland activities and play including den building, fire lighting, tree climbing, bug hunting, bushcraft, gardening, experimenting with mud and natural ingredients, storytelling …the list goes on!

Parent Hub

Once you have registered with us we will invite you to sign up to our ‘Parent Hub’ giving you access to lots of useful information such as our policies and procedures, parent contract, newsletters, lunch menus and lots of useful links.

Snacks & Meal Times

Children are welcome to to bring their own packed lunch in or we can order a hot lunch from our nursery caterer Zebedees, at a small extra cost. All other snacks and meals are included in the overall session price.

After washing their hands, the 2-4 year olds are encouraged to pour their water, cut their fruit and serve themselves and any peers they may be sitting down with. This not only encourages independence but a strong sense of autonomy.

Parent App

Daily photos and updates are shared with you via EYLOG, an online observation system, that allows you to log in at any time to view your child’s progress and development whilst at nursery.

We will also invite you for termly Parent Consultations to further discuss your child’s progress and development.
