Session Areas at Little Diggers Bosham

When accessing the free-flow nursery rooms and garden areas there will be an array of Montessori and non-Montessori toys and equipment for them to pick, choose and conquer as they please! While our teachers will observe, support and extend as appropriate.

When making use of the woodland the children and babies will be developing and building self-esteem through hands on, age appropriate woodland activities and play including den building, fire lighting, tree climbing, bug hunting, bushcraft, gardening, experimenting with mud and natural ingredients, storytelling …the list goes on!

Snacks & Meal Times

Children are welcome to to bring their own packed lunch in or we can order a hot lunch from our nursery caterer Zebedees, at a small extra cost. All other snacks and meals are included in the overall session price.

Children enjoy all their snacks and meals in our onsite Nursery Café, where we offer a rolling variety of wholesome, nutritious foods each day. The Café also becomes the heart of our Cookery Club, where little chefs get hands-on with field-to-fork cooking. Many of the ingredients they use are grown and nurtured by the children themselves during Gardening Club, making every dish even more meaningful!

Parent App

Photos and updates are shared with you via our parent app, an online observation system, that allows you to log in at any time to view your child’s progress and development whilst at nursery.

We will also invite you for termly Parent Consultations to further discuss your child’s progress and development.
